   What a delightful restaurant for our last dinner in the UK. Food was delicious!!, service great, and the atmosphere of an old pub was perfect. We ordered the Griffin Autumn salad with smoked chicken - cooked to perfection, and the salad flavors were perfect, and the Chicken Ale pie, which was tasty also. Highly recommend this place for a dinner out of the crowds ... but be sure to make reservations, as they were quite busy.

   Excellent service, especially as they were really busy. Food was great and reasonably priced for Bath. Had a lovely evening, great atmosphere. Thank you

   The table was sticky and dirty and remained so after it was ‘cleaned’. Explanation that there was an issue with the varnish was a bit poor as if that’s the case, then pop on a table cloth. The glasses were also not great, one was not clean, others cloudy and scratched. The table area was bright and airy but not cosy. The food however was very good. Perhaps we were unlucky with the table but I wouldn’t want anyone else to sit there!

   Good was great. Starter was the pate and we both had burgers - it was a we need a burger day day. Burger was great. It was very busy so I’m glad we made a reservation ahead.

   We are staying at the Griffin Inn and decided to eat there on our first night . It was absolutely gorgeous, we had the roast chicken with the biggest Yorkshire pudding. The flavour of the gravy/veg / meat ect was superb. We will definitely eat there again . Great service too & a very reasonable price
