The Green Flash is an iconic waterfront dining establishment in Captiva, Florida. Come by boat or car, sit indoors or at one of our outdoor dockside tables for lunch or dinner service. The Green Flash serves traditional American fare with a distinct European influence. The kitchen uses only fresh ingredients, including market-fresh fish in all its from scratch dishes. The full bar provides plenty of drink options and the dining rooms and patios provide beautiful views of the water while you eat. Enjoy your meal as you watch the many pleasure and fishing boats depart and return from their excursions!

The Green Flash's menu begins with a range of starters like oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, hot flash shrimp and mussels. There are plenty of salads and soups on The Green Flash menu as well, like the grilled chicken Caesar. Larger dishes include chicken porcini and pan seared diver scallops.

Ordered the pork wellington my favorite over the years. Pork was tender but the bread it was wrapped in was not what i expected. It reminded me of pillsbury. Use to be much better in the past, sort of a fluffy phylo dough. Disappointed. Scalloped potatos were delicious.

Service was great, very friendly. Appetizers, sides and dessert were wonderful, but the grouper was dry and a bit tasteless. Not a good choice tonight.

The surf and turf was excellent. Thank you Cathy for excellent service. I might be there everyday to eat the escargot, very delicious!

We had a fantastic dining experience at Green Flash! Our server, Ashley, was attentive and friendly. My husband enjoyed his Grouper Cafe de Paris. My yellow snapper (special of the day) might be the best meal I have had on Captiva! Don’t skip out on dessert- the carrot cake was a hit with us! We appreciated the owner circulating around the room checking on all the tables.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. I Would rather eat at Burger King.
