   Highly recommend anyone to experience the Grainstore really enjoyed the Christmas menu especially the venison myself and the turkey my partner had,well done to all the staff, you certainly deserve the awards you received earlier in the month thank you

   Great service from waitresses Very pleasant environment. Unfortunately the food was cold. All veg cold. Cottage pie very dry. Wasn’t served with a gravy.

   We enjoyed an excellent lunch of cottage pie and Doddington burger. Both dishes were accompanied by generous portions of kitchen garden vegetables/salad and were delicious. Glasses of Sangiovese were a very good match for the food. Too full to have a dessert, we opted for a coffee and mince pie. It is well worth reserving a table in the restaurant. Although there is inevitably some noise from the cafe below, this was not intrusive. Views of the lake and beyond to open countryside provide a very pleasant backdrop to any meal. Service was both friendly and efficient.

   A smart, but relaxed venue. The Roast Beef was incredible, melt in the mouth, served with a decent amount of veg and a delicious gravy. Possibly the best restaurant roast dinner I've ever had! My wife enjoyed a vegetarian risotto, also cooked perfectly, followed by a simply fabulous Treacle tart. We will definitely be revisiting!

   Excellent Sunday lunch. The meat and vegetables were perfectly cooked and generous portions. Friendly, efficient service. Tables were widely spaced in attractive dining room.

   Our periodic get together was again an enjoyable one with lovely food and good company. The staff were great and sorted a table mix-up (not their fault) quickly and to our advantage, seating us at a round table which was quieter and meant we could see each other! The service was great and the food excellent. Thank you from all of us to all the staff at the Grain Store.
