Perfect for walkers, cyclists and families, the Grain Store is the ideal location to relax and refuel. Open daily with a delicious breakfast, lunch and cake menu to suit all appetites.

The Restaurant is open every Friday and Saturday evening for à la carte dining. The chefs have curated a delicious seasonal menu showcasing their own pasture-fed Lincoln Red beef, game and Kitchen Garden produce from the Doddington Estate along with the finest locally sourced and British ingredients.

Enjoy their selection of teas and coffee, expertly prepared by their Stokes trained baristas and treat yourself to delicious homemade cake.

    Such a lovely valentines dining experience from start to finish. High quality food, beautifully presented and delicious flavours. Service was discreet though attentive and personal as well as professional. The atmosphere was lovely, pianist was a special touch as was the rose at each table. The venue was clean, modern, spacious but also able to create an intimate feel for dining couples. It’s a rare find to have good food, professional service with a smile and all presented in lovely surroundings.

    Food very nice although whoever decided that presenting a scallop in it's shell on a bed of sand should think again as too easy to rest your fork or knife in the sand. Disappointing to be seated downstairs where the seats are not that comfortable for dining.

    Food was lovely but portion sizes were very small I had or order an extra dish after having a full breakfast.

    Breakfast was very good indeed and my reason for overall being 4stars rather than 5stars is the menu. A pancake dish and a fish dish would have meant 5 stars all round.

    Absolutely delicious breakfast, the BEST bacon 'milk roll' I have ever eaten. Service was warm and friendly and we were left alone enough to feel relaxed but if we had needed anything extra someone tended to us swiftly! Food came out fast and our smoothies we had whilst waiting were delicious. I can tell a lot of thought and effort has gone into the finer details of the experience and the atmosphere is buzzy but relaxed. I like that you can go in jeans and a t-shirt but wouldn't have looked out of place in a suit! Super delicious and worth the slightly inflated cost of a regular cafe to experience the Grain Store.. we will be back!!!

    Whilst the ambience and staff were very good the menu was a bit limited. Two dishes disappointing. Game casserole was insipid and I doubt included much game. When I asked the waitress I was informed it was turkey and pheasant! Not what I expected especially as I had seen a delicious looking game casserole in the food hall. Lemon posset and almond tuille was indicated to be KG, kitchen garden produce, which I very much doubt it was. However it was sold out, we ate at 12.30, so I doubt they had sufficient, if any for lunchtime service. However the carrot cake was very good. It was our first visit for a birthday lunch and to be honest was I disappointed. I would be prepared to give it one more try but would expect much better in order to visit again.
