y wife and I tried this spot for Valentine's Day. They had a Prefix Menu for $68++ per person, minus the drinks. Sounded like a good deal, right? Especially, since this restaurant is part of the David Burke group. It should be good. We started with our appetizers. My wife originally wanted the Lobster Bisque Soup. But they ran out of that. They only had Mushroom Bisque or some other cream soup as a replacement. So, I had the Mushroom Bisque Souphile, while she had the Beet and Buratta Salad. They were very good. When it came to the main courses, I had the Pork Osso Buccon with Risotto (in Tagalog, Pinasosyal na Patatim ). My wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli. While my portions were generous, hers were disappointing. Five small pieces. Hardly satisfying, especially for someone who skipped lunch and was looking forward to a hearty meal for dinner. You would think that because you were paying the same price, both meals would have good portions. It wasn't the case here. Luckily, my meal was large enough for me to share. But, our mood was already in the downhill. BTW, the browning of my dish was uneven. On One side, you have a nice dark brown color and it was slightly crispy. On the other side, it was pale and soggy. Desserts took longer to come out than our meal, which was very strange. The place wasn't fully packed. When they did arrive, they were a letdown. My Coconut Cream Pie was fine. Nothing too special. However, the sugars of my wife's creme brulee was burnt to the point where it made the whole dessert bitter. We brought it up to their attention. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They said they would replace it in two minutes. So, we waited. Unfortunately, the replacement was a failure, too. The top sugar was on point, but the actual custard was very runny. My wife just finished it as we wanted to leave right away. The manager apologized and gave us a free slice of key lime pie as a good gesture. If it weren't for the staff, this place would have g

We ordered some of the extra starters and they never arrived. Most of us had salad for the starter course and it was good. The osso bucco pork was dry, ravioli was a bit underdone, on the salmon plate, half of the purée was cold. We had to ask several times for cutlery when food was in front of us. We have eaten a number of times at Orchard Park and enjoyed it very much. We didn’t feel The Goat was up to standard.

I left a detailed review with mild feedback, and I just want to say the restaurant responded to me immediately. I therefore I am amending my review because of their great customer service. The food that we had was delicious and we will be back.

I was really impressed! First of all, the bartender, Anthony, was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and my friend and I were asking for “custom” items and he never made a face or complained or acted inconvenienced. The drinks he made were spectacular. Second, the food was really good. We had the tuna tartar tacos which were amazing. They were a o light and the fish was super fresh. Then we had a pepperoni pizza and the eggplant chips with whipped ricotta. The ricotta was next level. So creamy and seasoned perfectly. The eggplant chips were something different and so good! The pepperoni pizza was cooked just right so the crust was chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside and it wasn’t too topping heavy. All in all, we had a great night out and enjoyed delicious food. We will be going back!

First visit, with high expectations. Our salmon avocado toast appetizers were spectacular, but not included on the 2-course Prix Fixe brunch, which had no exciting choices--I am not expecting pizzas and cheeseburgers on a renowned chef's menu. Steak ordered rare, specifically hot and red, arrived warm and only partly pink, more like medium, and it was not as tender as hanger steak I've enjoyed from the food desert of southwest Ohio to Manhattan. Accompanying scrambled eggs were perfectly soft and pillowy but home fries were "meh". My companion's brioche French toast with strawberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup was good, but she declared "appetizers were better than entrées". Cappuccino was delicious. Service was good except server was not paying attention to water consumption and I had to hail the maître d' to get a glass refilled. The renovation was charming and informal, but the maintenance of this space seems careless: radiator at my feet had its cover wide open, lock on accessible ladies' toilet compartment was missing, the hole stuffed with toilet paper, with an auxiliary hook lock attached to the door. This is an upscale dining environment? Left wondering if David Burke ever supervises here or just slapped his name on the sign? Marquis chefs who attract foodies should know that patrons expect higher standards than The Goat demonstrated today.
