   Lovely staff in a characterful building. Had the 7 course taster menu and could it fault it. There for over 3 hours and really enjoyed it. We will be back.

   Brilliant to be able to enjoy a beautiful meal in the Globe. However Burns’ room was locked so not able to see inside despite that being the main reason why we wanted to go there. Discovered the next day that they are breaking rules set out by the trust that owns the building by doing so. Poor given the importance of the Globe and draw for visitors to the town. Will head back at some point just to see inside Burns’ room - only disappointing element of a lovely meal.

For health and safety reasons, and to preserve the historical integrity of the room, access is only granted with one of our staff members as part of our guided Globe tours, or by pre-arrangement with a member of the Howff Club. These tours are bookable to avoid disappointment. We are working to ensure this information is made clearer to our guests. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this caused. If you contact us with the dates you plan to visit, we would be happy to arrange a tour for you, ensuring you have the opportunity to experience this important piece of history.

   Fabulous experience at The Globe Inn. A taste explosion! Super food and yummy cocktails. Excellent service and description of the fare. We will definitely revisit when in the area.

   3rd time weve eaten here. Never fails to impress us with its high quality food, beautifully put together. we also had the wine flight. It complemented the food brilliantly

   The food , service and ambience were excellent as always. Excellent lunch menu beautifully presented and fully explained by the first class waiting staff. Only thing that was a n issue was that the seats are extremely uncomfortable and should be replaced.

   Absolutely perfect - I cannot fault it in any way. The food was absolutely superb and the staff were excellent. The cocktails were also fantastic. We will be going again. Not to be missed.

    An absolute must to dine there.Fine cuisine at its best with creative,innovative,interesting and delicious courses to stimulate and tease the palate.An extensive wine list on offer to compliment all dishes.Our Chablis we polished off was indeed smooth and beautiful. Our servers were efficient and totally professional with an extreme knowledge of dishes,wines and sprits served. The whiskies on offer from the local Annandale distillery are a pleasure to drink and come in many tasty varieties. Hopefully will be back soon.
