    We’ve been going to the Girl and the Fig for decades. I’ve been there 3 times in the past few months. Chose it to celebrate my birthday and a good friend’s birthday. Must have been an off night because the food was sub par and not too inspired. My soup had too much cream, making it very heavy and the salad looked very thrown together without a lot of care. Since we always have a good meal there, I will give it another chance..Hopefully next time will be better

    My first time to the restaurant . I had high expectations from many years of seeing reviews. I found the food and service very good, but what surprised me was the fact that many guests were underdressed in t shirts and torn jeans. But the wait staff wears jeans and bussers were T shirts...I was very surprised. I enjoyed the food and the value was very good.

    This is one of our favorite go-to restaurants and we are never disappointed. The service this time was outstanding. What a nice, professional server on table 15 (thanks for letting us know the number :) She really made the experience even better. The table itself is one of the least desirable as it looks right into the bathroom area, and it happens that this is the second time in a row we were seated there. Oh well, now that we know, next time we will be sure to request a different table, but hopefully get the same server.
