   The Gate Restaurant, Llanfrechfa was bustling with a lively, cheerful atmosphere, and yet the food and service remained exceptional despite the number of diners being looked after. The dishes were absolutely flawless—served piping hot and bursting with flavor. Thank you for providing such a delightful evening! We will definitely be returning soon.    Excellent food and service. We had pre dinner drinks and were not rushed to our table to start neither were we under any pressure to leave the our table when we finished eating.

   Had a meal here for the 1st time for our wedding anniversary. Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely staff and will definitely be back and recommend to others.

   We were at the Gate for lunch with friends. While we all agreed the food was very good, the service could be improved somewhat. Having said that, we would visit again.

    The food was ok to make it better the ingredients could be locally sourced fresh fish muscles ect, and fresh produce from around the area, the dishes just seemed big standard and the sauces are mostly all the same.
