The setting was beautiful but the food offering (buffet only) was a little disappointing. No eggs Benedict or any other a la carte options. Also we had to ask 3 times for a Bellini. If felt a little soulless

We had a lovely brunch at the Palace Hotel at its gorgeous Garden Court! Every staff member was attentive and friendly. Our table was clean and comfortable. The decor was lovely too! The buffet meals were ample and tasty. Enjoyed the scrambled eggs and salmon selections! The coffee was very good too and especially the fresh squeezed orange juice was superb! Loved that there were gluten-free pastries available! As I have celiac disease having some sweets was a real treat! :) If I were to add any suggestions, would be nice to leave a pot of coffee at each table and so one can freely pour to one's cup! I noticed there was French toast offered, and it would be great to have pancakes too :) Thanks so much for all the staff for their wonderful service and chefs for preparing delicious brunch menu! Cheers!

Afternoon tea at the garden court, what a let down. We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and were incredibly disappointed. All of the sandwiches little flavor, but lots of mayonnaise. Not a single sweet was memorable. My girlfriend left hungry. I left with an upset stomach from the copious amounts of mayo. Probably my fault for eating the food. The meal came out to $320 for two after tax and tip. I feel beyond disappointed with the experience. I had thought the experience included a glass of bubbles, not sure why I thought that. But it did not. The space is beautiful but I’d never recommend going to anyone. I feel ripped off. One of the very very few times I’ve had massive buyers remorse on a meal.

Min was our server and he was excellent, his service matched the location and elegance as well as bringing a comfort and hospitality level that gave us a welcoming feeling. He was very humble yet also well mannered and just an excellent server. We celebrated my partner’s birthday and I did not expect a gift at the end it was just wonderful.

I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day specifically for the live music performance. When we were seated, our server told us there were portraits available and the music performers would be out in ten minutes. After nearly an hour, neither of those occurred. I only noticed the hotel staff cleaning up the audio equipment. The hotel was not specific when there were only two shows and if I had known in advance, I would not have planned a 3pm reservation. The general manager Ben did apologize and tried to make things right however I was disappointed my whole day was planned around this special event that never happened. My heart sank when I was told the music performer had left for the day, when I was anticipating this specific Valentine’s Day event.

The Valentines afternoon tea experience was regretful. Sweets were too sweet & bread on the tea sandwiches were dry. Ambiance was lackluster. You’re essentially sitting in the lobby/bar area and the music selection made it feel like we were in a shopping mall. Hard to flag down a server despite it being half empty.

I’ve embark upon quite a few Afternoon Teas at high end establishments and this was by far the most underwhelming experience for the price/value received. There was a wait even with a reservation. It took an additional 10 mins once sat to get waited on. For the price paid, the food was small in portion, and then there was also an issue with parking. Magically, none of their credit card machines were working to take payment and I was told they were out of money to make any other transactions so we had to pay cash at the garage which was highly inconvenient as we carry primarily cards. The only thing that saved this experience was the afternoon entertainment with their Valentine’s Day violist. The performers were excellent. It was just everything else that left more to be desired. I will not be returning nor recommending this place as a spot for afternoon tea. There are far superior luxury hotels who actually should be charging the rate the Palace hotel is and their entire experience is way better. I left driving home in silence just confused and disappointed about the entire experience.

Waiter forgot that he had our table and the bus person got me a drink after waiting with no return of the waiter after our order
