   I was given a voucher for my birthday and attended with my wife for lunch. We selected the set menu, which had a selection that we were both happy with. All three courses were delicious which was accompanied with a wine flight of red and white. We were given advice on the wines and the order to drink, from a light wine to more complex flavours. The service was excellent and the advice very good. We will be visiting the establishment again so can definitely recommend The French Quarter.

   Ist time here,did not disappoint. Food very tasty,well presented. Helpful,knowledgeable waiting staff. Not over attentive. Really enjoyed our meal. Would not hesitate to return.

   Great atmosphere and charming service. The food was well-prepared, tasty and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the comfortable and relaxed surroundings, but were a little taken aback at the very small portions. We were expecting the tartiflette to equate to a plat principal - but it was far from main course dimensions. Comté wonderful but again a rather grudging amount given the price. Overall a little disappointing. Don’t think I’ll be rushing back,I’m afraid.

   Absolutely amazing food and excellent service. This was our second time here and will definitely come back. Worth a trip to Newcastle just for this place.

   Delicious food with very friendly and efficient staff . The potato dauphinois and tartiflette were superb, as was the steak dish. A fine selection of wines is available at the restaurant Many thanks for a superb evening.

   Fantastic experience. Ate there by myself - service was lovely, all staff attentive + very friendly - wasn't waiting for long for ordering/bill etc. Food & drinks both absolutely delicious, and a helpful explainer to the menu was provided to those unfamiliar. More on the expensive side (as expected), but in my opinion - the quality was worth the price. Would highly recommend!

   Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Made to feel welcome and looked after throughout the whole evening. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, and literally made our experience a one to not forget. Outstanding food and attention to detail. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
