The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

    Amazing spot!! Highly recommend -- perfect hygge/holiday vibes. Such a cozy spot and exactly what we were looking for in a fish and chips pub experience. Hands down the best fish and chips of our lives! But the highlight was the super bright tartar sauce which I ate straight. MUST get the sticky toffee pudding, the most insanely amazing warm butterscotch-y goodness ever. Amazing service, very warm and friendly. Amazing decor. Can't recommend enough!

    Sunday roast the weekend before Christmas, so perhaps busier than usual? We were seated in the conservatory. We felt a bit rushed - our meals were brought out less than five minutes after the orders were taken - the beef and Yorkshire pudding were hot, but the side veg were barely warm - not as enjoyable as on previous visits.
