   It was ok. Not the worst. Not the best. Just ok. The waiter was ok. Not friendly but not rude. Overall just ok. Not special. Probably won't go back.

   It started with the host. Rude and very unwelcoming. The food was salty, and the beverages were flat.

   My daughters and I had a great experience. The entire staff were exceptional, especially our waitress, Rachel, and the manager. This is a nice place to dine for lunch. The ambience is very nice. We will return and tell others about The Finch.

   We had a great Christmas Eve dinner. All the food was good and the drinks were stellar as well. I would recommend The Finch to someone who hasn’t been before

   The Finch Grand Prairie is not what it used to be. I hate to downgrade my review but this restaurant is nothing like it was when it opened. I have given it a few chances but lately I have always left disappointed. The food is just ok. I used to leave wowed by the food but now I just feel like it is mediocre. I am not sure what has changed but something has. The service is also lacking. The server may come by once or twice but I generally have to flag them down to get another drink or a refill on my water. Additionally, in the last meal we had, we were brought food that required a spoon, soup and creme brulee, neither time did the server provide us with a spoon without us asking. I just can't recommend the Finch any longer. I wish the food and service went back to the way it was when it opened

   Overall just ok. Granted, it was Christmas Eve but the steak was overcooked and small portions, the lobster bisque was good flavor but very little lobster meat, the French onion soup was salty and the bread was small. Definite room for improvement in the service with the “smoked at the table” cocktail arriving unsmoked (which she corrected after being asked but was her “first one” and we had to help her figure out how to do it). Main Meals did not arrive at the same time and were delivered across the table, soup came without spoons.

   Fantastic place to in grand Prairie. Much needed restaurant. Fabulous Christmas Eve dinner with great friends. This is establishment to go on special occasions. We will return
