   This is a lovely small restaurant. Delicious small plates - each one incredibly tasty and mind blowing pudding (raspberry and pecan pie- who knew?!). Lovely atmosphere, not rushed, friendly waiting staff but it does close at 10 so book a 7pm table for a more relaxed evening and to squeeze in a cocktail or two.

   A fantastic experience from the arrival the staff the excellent service and the super tasty food. The sharing format works well that with a group of 3-4 you get to taste everything and you should! The carnivores out there may pause on the menu - I did, but the prawns and chicken dishes and the diverse flavours of the other dishes is a real taste experience. A must for a treat in Rye but book early.

   A bit spenny but Fabulous… Always delivers a great evening out this place… Been many times and will continue to do so.. Best place in Rye for sure.

   Our experience @ The Fig was amazing! The food is 10 / 10 and truly something special. The staff was very friendly and the dishes were creative and thought through. Would recommend this restaurant (& hotel) to any gourmet and visitor in Rye.

   Very good tapas restaurant with rooms. We were staying so it was lovely to be able just walk downstairs to dinner. It would have been nice to have some bread to mop up all the delicious juices from the various dishes

    Really good sharing plates. Flavourful food and well presented. The style forces you to change from your usual approach and it’s better for it. Really well executed and we enjoyed it. The open kitchen means you will carry the scent of your dinner home with you but a small gripe.
