We needed a place to connect for a business meeting & quick lunch. For those needs, we were satisfied. The food was good & service was perfect, but we were the only table for lunch. It was cavernous and our voices carried throughout the space. We were hardly finished when we were told the place was going to close & we’d need to hurry out. All was fine, just didn’t feel like a $20 sandwich atmosphere.

The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The staffing going above and beyond for a birthday at our table. The food was delicious, especially the Benedict's. Access directly off of 5 in the Renaissance with comped underground parking or valet. Will definitely return.

I had family in town as they were attending the NFL game today and we didn’t want to have a big T-Day dinner. So we did this brunch instead. It was a good meal with a good selection of food. It was a combination of breakfast and Turkey dinner samplings. 1st - why Open Table doesn’t just list the restaurant as being INSIDE the Renaissance Hotel, I don’t know. That would make getting their so much easier. We arrived at 11:30 when they opened and in 90 minutes only saw five other customers! I surmise it was the (after tax and added 20% gratuity) $130/pp price! At that price point, it should be bottomless mimosas, not just one! Standout items were the ham, cornbread stuffing, lobster ravioli with shrimp and crepe station. Although they only had sweet crepes or lox & cream cheese options. But the crepes were made to order. Good food, but really too expensive for the venue and experience!

Service was great, team was attentive. Reservation allowed for a window seat vs. table which was a nice addition.

The lighting was oddly bright. Our waiter came to our table a total of two times: once to take our order (the first two dishes I tried to order were out of stock--this is fine if mentioned sooner; he also "did not hear us order the starter" that we never received even though it's the first thing we said), and once to clear our plates that the host brought to our table. This is despite the fact our waiter left a menu with us so we could order drinks that he never asked about again. The steak I ordered had quite a bit of gristle/fat that was plated to hide the fat specifically. Overall, underwhelming and overpriced. Didn't ask for anything else from anyone else to try to leave as quickly as possible especially given they have an automatic 20% gratuity.

To start out, my overall experience at the Fig & the Judge was fine, the company you have with you is always what helps you ignore the things going on around. This review is more so to give their management a heads up that there is a better way to manage the experience for your customers which I will shoot their way privately. Overall wait times for drinks and service were the primary drivers behind this review. A lot of our trips and places where our teams stay are based on the restaurant selections around the hotel so experiences like this deter us from returning to those spots.

We were a party of six celebrating a birthday. Sign of a great venue and food is proven when all the guests ask “how did you find this place?” Everyone marveled at their appetizers and entrees. Looking for an excuse to go back!
