   Everything was great, great value for money, not too noisy and food was phenomenal. Ordered shrimp, lamb shank and steak bites

   Despite nice decor, service was extremely slow. It took 15 minutes for water, 30 minutes for drinks, and an hour for food. Burnt appetizers, poorly presented mains, and overcooked shrimp worsened our experience. The host was kind, but the waitress avoided us and didn't compensate for poor service. Highly disappointing for a higher-end restaurant.

   The day after Valentine Day, the food temperature was not hot and less than warm. Seems their waiters/waitresses understaffing. The food serving was longer than we expected.

   This place is super cute and a great atmosphere! While our waitress was very nice, they did not have enough servers staffed, which caused our wait times to be extremely slow for our entire visit. It took forever to even get waters poured for our table! The waitress stopped by 3 separate times telling us she would be filling our waters while we waited for it to happen. I did feel for her because you could tell she was busy. We also had to flag down another waitress to ask for our drinks to be refilled halfway through our meal. I ordered the steak medallions over mushroom risotto for $32. I asked for medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak came out completely raw on the inside. Normally I wouldn’t never send things back, but I had to in this case because I do not enjoy raw steak. By the time they brought my corrected dish back out, everyone else had finished eating, so I just had my meal boxed up to go. There were 4 of us so we asked for separate checks. I understand that this can be a pain for servers at times, so we asked in the very beginning and were told by the waitress that she totally didn’t mind separating our checks. Because of the mishap with my meal, the manager came over and said that she would comp our appetizer if we all agreed to split the 4 checks evenly. We did not want to do that because one of us got an expensive to-go order and others got more expensive food than some. It just didn’t make sense to split the checks evenly and it was not beneficial or helping the situation. Final thought - overpriced for the experience received! I think I would go back and give it another chance, but maybe opt to go with just one or two friends and sit at the bar.

   The Farmhouse is in the same family of restaurants of the Blackwall Hitch/ Lodge, and the quality and taste and ambience mirrors each other. Everything is excellent across any restaurant. The Titan Group has a good thing going on with the farm to table experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

    We couldn’t have been more impressed with the service and the great food. Everyone in our party of four had something different and each meal was delicious and came with more than ample servings. The service was top notch across the board from our charming waitress to the busboys delivering and clearing our plates. Without question all of us will come back and spread the word amongst our local friends that The Farnhouse is a must for lunch or dinner.
