   Really great experience. The server was lovely and the food was great. It was a great environment and all round just a lovely wee pre theatre date.

   The food choices are small but varied, I find this a more acceptable choice than a menu with a lot of different options tends to be less care taken during prep, it also makes it less time in cooking and waiting which I find better as the

   Good evening having a meal prior to event next door. Staff attentive without being overpowering. Good atmosphere in the pub. Background music quietly playing. Food was excellent. All in all a very pleasant evening with some good food prior. Good pub with a real good vibe to it.

   The food was lovely, as was the service. The seating area was in the middle of all the rowdy post match fans though, who kept leaning on our chairs and putting their empty glasses on our table as we were eating. The staff apologised and we were giving 10% off for the inconvenience and we acknowledged it wasn’t their fault at all, but for future we suggested food is served at not in certain areas as it was a lot to pay for fancy food but to be sat in the middle of a load of drunk men. Unfortunately, it was comparable to Wetherspoons but double the price and half the portion size.

   Perfect place to lunch before heading to the Empire Theatre. Great food, enthusiastic service and upbeat ambiance. We will definitely return.
