   I’ve dined at Duplex before but it was such a great calm vibe at night. I love brunch if you’re looking for a turn up but I really enjoyed experiencing them for dinner.

   Phenomenal experience. From the moment my guest and I walked in we were treated with the upmost respect and attention. We had reservations and did not have to wait at all for a table. My server, Ashley, was so personable and knowledgeable about the menu. I enjoyed her company and conversation. Service was swift and the food was impeccable. I had the “Duplex burger” which had this amazing aioli sauce on it. Along with two cocktails, the “Care bear” and “Blind monkey” both strong and sweet. The ambiance is breathtaking with so many aspects conceptualizing the attention to detail both owners have given to the establishment. The setting is intimate, the playlist is immaculate and the overall experience is one you’ll remember and want to revisit anytime you’re in the area.

   Food was amazing drinks were also great. The wait for the drinks was way to long though 30 40 minutes. But we still had a great time. 🙏

   Had a reservation for 1pm and they were running behind about 20 to 25 minutes. We appreciated the updates and gestures while we waited. Noise level was something I did not expect, very loud with a live DJ and I was concerned we would be yelling at each other for the duration. At some point you get used to it and the DJ took a break or ended. Food was great - steak and eggs were done correctly, my party tried the Turkish eggs and burrito and we were all pleased with our selections. We stuck with the Duplex Mimosa throughout our meal. Overall value was fair. The only items I didn't care for were the plastic flutes, I enjoy real glasses when dining out. Would return to try dinner.

   Food was average, service was great however it was quite loud and kitchen would yell when dishes were ready so you would hear a yell every 5-10 minutes across the restaurant

   Best shrimp n grits I’ve had in the city. Drinks great too. Service from everyone collectively was appreciated

   Our server Dre was the highlight of our experience. He was kind, attentive and knowledgeable! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun brunch. The grits were amazing! The owner was also very nice!

    Highly disappointed at the food selection they offer for brunch for restaurant week. The fact they didn’t have some items for the pre fix menu plus they didn’t offer anything else due to them not having a few items. I even asked the waiter like well since you guys don’t have what’s on the prefix menu are you guys being accommodating to anything and of course the waiter never came back to answer that. So I’m hoping next year they will do better because this time around I wasn’t happy at all with them.
