We had another fantastic lunch today at the Dun Cow. My family has eaten there several times and they are consistently really good and very accommodating. A gem of a pub, fantastic location and lovely, warm staff.

Lovely atmosphere.quite busy .We booked for 3.30 pm and was promptly told we could choose one of two tables which we did ,and were told it was table service. Initially we were served promptly and the food arrived quickly although there was no Sunday Roast available as they had run out .We chose Haddock and Chips which was well presented and tasted very nice,we were asked if everything was ok which we replied that it was.Once we finished ,our plates sat on the table for over 45mins,and we're still there when we left over an hour and a half later and at no point were we asked if we would like to see the desert menu which we were waiting for,or if we would like another drink.By this point it was much quieter and still no one came.We would have liked to been asked if we would like a desert but we weren't.This was disappointing as it was a Birthday meal.We then paid the bill.I decided to use the ladies toilet ,one of which was out of order. The other had run out of hand towel and toilet paper and the large bin was overflowing and the floor was wet and dirty ,it obviously hadn't been checked for some time, this later experience with the toilet and desert would stop me eating there again which is a shame as this really let down what would have been a lovely overall experience.

The main room by the window probably best unless you are a large group.

We had wonderful food when we went two weeks ago but this time the food was not as good. The coffee was poor and my tea was cold. Staff were really lovely though.

As always, excellent food and service. The quality has not dipped since the change in ownership, which is great.

One of our favourite pubs in North Norfolk. Can’t fault anything apart from it would be nice if you could do a Sunday Roast. Keep up the good work.
