Always a wonderful outing at the Dorset: staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Variety of food & beverage is excellent and I appreciate the effort to offer Canadian products when possible. Fun and cozy atmosphere.

This is a charming new place. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the food was surprisingly well prepared. A good variety of dishes was available.

I went to the Dorset for the first time a few weeks back and had the Dorset burger which was delicious. Noticing that the owner is from Dorset in the Uk and they had a Sunday roast, I thought I was finally going to find a restaurant in Toronto that could rustle up a proper Sunday roast. So I excitedly took my family of six there for a Sunday roast. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The lamb was poorly cooked, cold and fatty. The roast potatoes weren’t quite roasts. The Yorkshire pudding was unnecessarily large and the vegetables blah. The gravy was nice and they did provide mint sauce with the lamb which is often overlooked. So my search for a proper Sunday roast is on going…any suggestions?

We love coming to the Dorset. The food is great and they are always so sweet with our 3 year old daughter. The cocktails are delicious, and we love the Sunday roast options.

As always the experience at The Dorset is exceptional. My partner and I have been going there since August of 2024 and it keeps getting better everyone we go. The food, the people, location and space make The Dorset one of if not our favourite restaurant to go to in Toronto. The bar is set pretty high when we go to other restaurants and most of them usually just don’t compare. Whatever you guys are doing at The Dorset please don’t stop. Thank you as always for the amazing experience and friendly welcome we always receive whenever we are there.
