   Very disappointed with the my starter and main meal. The starter had pesto in which wasn’t started so as I don’t like pesto it ruined my starter and I had chicken and ribs for my main. The ribs were all fat and gristle. I did mention it to the server and all he said was he would mention it to the kitchen. Very disappointed and won’t be rushing back which is a big shame.

   My family and I are no strangers to the Derby Inn. We love it there. We came in for dinner today and once again we had an amazing experience. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and communication from staff. Food was delicious and for four of us, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend!

   We loved our lunch here today. It was our first visit and we will definitely return. We liked the traditional menu with some additional Greek options. Delicious homemade food and warm, comforting surroundings. Plus lovely service, thank you!

   I booked for 5 people and we decided after looking at the menus online that we’d all have the ‘Festive’ menu. When we got there we found that this had to be booked in advance so wasn’t available which was disappointing. I can’t see any warning about this on the website. We selected from the main menu and the food was fine but we skipped pudding as it was all going to be more expensive. ( The Festive menu was 3 courses for £30). The waitress was excellent. Friendly, informative and attentive.
