The Depot Restaurant is a charming neighborhood restaurant located in a stone building just a block off the Plaza in Sonoma. Locals and visitors to the Wine Country enjoy Tuscan-inspired cuisine in spacious dining rooms, and on the terraces of the Italian garden and reflection pool. In addition to products made in-house, the Sonoma wine country offers an abundance of new artisanal products to enjoy. The wine list is heavily laden with local Sonoma wines as well as wines from Italy. Come join us for dinner...or just drop in for some small plates and a glass of wine! Take-out is always available, give us a call to place your order over the phone!

    I loved everything about the experience, although I was surprised to learn I was charged $4 for 3 small pieces of bread. I believe it that should have been included with my meal. Renee

    This is a must stop for dinner when in Sonoma, just off the square. An amazing hidden Gem. From the outside ambience to the amazing food. The Double Bone Pork Chop , Saffron Pasta , chicken, braise short ribs - all was so so so good and for dessert the chocolate cake.

    Everything about this restaurant was fantastic! We were running late, so we called ahead to notify them, and they were so gracious and told us to not worry about it. When we got there, we were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Charming historic building has a charming little pool in the rear outdoor seating area that has been converted to a fountain. The food was outstanding. We ordered the mozzarella bread appetizer, the chicken entree and the bolognese. They were all excellent, especially the mozzarella…not sure what they do to it but it is mouth watering. A couple glasses of wine as well. For the amount of food and drink we ordered and the quality of the experience, I felt like we weren’t charged enough! :) We will be back, which is saying a lot because there are so many great restaurants in the area and my wife and I try not to eat at the same place twice.

    What a lovely setting. And a beautiful evening sitting outside was delightful. The indoors is very classy, but can be a little loud in small rooms. Great white staff. Wonderful food good wine not a full bar, however. Overall excellent.

    We sat outside on the deck and had I beautiful view of the patio and pool. Service and food were very good. Enjoyed!
