   Food was great although some dishes aren’t very big portions. You’re asked which sauces you would like with your food but are not told that they are chargeable so your bill soon adds up. Weren’t taking new orders when we arrived as busy so offered olives these were also charged.

   Fantastic family run restaurant,. Really friendly and attentive staff with delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, our favourite place to go out to eat in Bude! Highly recommend the Halloumi & Veg Skewers, with Garlic butter.

   Our party of 4 enjoyed, mussels and rack of ribs, however seafood skewers squid was a bit tough and chewy, butter wasn't soft enough to brush over skewers. That being said chips were perfect and side dishes. Would go again

   Arrived at The Deck, the staff were very welcoming and showed us to our table right away. The service was very prompt and the staff were all so friendly. Food was amazing, me and my friend both ate everything on our boards. Definitely be going back 10/10!!

    We went for lunch. No other diners at all. We were forgotten to start with and it got worse. Food was ordinary. Fries could've come from the golden arches. My chicken was grey. A skewer of chicken with absolutely nothing to ' Deck it up ', no onion or peppers on skewer, nothing, no frills, no thought. Chicken skewer fell over when fries dish was moved. Waitress was ' off ' from the start. She was at the table when chicken fell but no assistance offered. I picked it up with my hands. Steak and cheese burger was our other order. It gets ' Decked up ' even if you don't want it Decked Up! Chillies on everything whether you want it or not. When you've requested mild cheese on the burger after a discussion with the waitress about not wanting the spicy cheese, its quite a surprise to see everything covered in chillies! You can't polish a t@*d and smothering it in chillies does not help. Second waitress attended our table for the soul purpose of picking a fight, she was not requested. She raged, out of control! Upset because I wasn't eating. My husband was eating, she picked up his board and screamed at us to leave! Hysterical woman with serious anger management concerns. She raged about putting up with horrible people all summer ( Bude is a tourist destination) etc. All of the food issues could've been overcome but the ' tag team ' bullies who run this place were impossible to overcome. This could've been very distressing for some customers and I would advise anyone to avoid The Deck if they are of a sensitive nature. I have emailed The Deck after a cooling off period but , predictably no response. A dreadful attitude to customers. Mediocre food. Completely disgusting.
