The Dawson Is a new Bar and Restaurant that is located in the heart of midtown just off 5th ave, walking distance to Rockefeller centre, Radio City, St Patricks Cathedral, Bryant Park. We are a family owned Bar & Restaurant serving Fine Fare, Craft Beers & Libations. We host private events on our mezzanine level with custom packages. Come join us to sample some of Chef Eduardo Villegas signature dishes like Brick Chicken, Braised Short rib, Mansion burger, Ricotta & Sweet potato flatbreads and much more!

                                                                                          Always enjoy our time there. Service is great and the drinks and food are good. We had a problem with one of our dinners and they were quick to fix the problem and did everything to make sure we were satisfied which was very much appreciated.

                                                                                          It was a very nice venue. Very crowded so noisy. Was seated promptly but took a while before we were visited by our server and asked if we wanted a drink. She was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Dawson burger and salad. Both would have been good except the salad was overdressed and the hamburger came nowhere close to the temperature I ordered. I wanted medium rare and received well done. Not even a slight hint of pink. Also wasn't too hot. The fries had potential but were a mish-mash of pieces and were a little soggy at that. Really disappointing.

Our waitress wanted our drink and food order immediately after we sat down. She never came back to check on us or ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert. We will not be back.

                                                                                          We had a great meal at the Dawson before a broadway show. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. It was quite loud when we arrived (happy hour), but they gave our family a table in the back corner, which was kind. My kids had nice meals off the appetizer menu and the burger my husband had an my braised short ribs were excellent. Great choice close to the theaters!

                                                                                          Decoration is really nice. Servers continuously checked on my table if we needed anything. Food was very good, considering Manhattan, prices were average if not slightly lower compared to other restaurants. I would definitely come back.

                                                                                          This was our first time at Dawsons even though we're both lifelong New Yorkers. When we arrived there was a lively noisy bar seen at 6pm but fortunately we had a booth in the rear of the restaurant where we could actually hear each other. The food was very good - we had the dawson's salad, the chicken fried sandwich, a classic burger, and fish and chips. All came with delicious french fries. We all had drinks - guiness on tap, and a cocktail. We would eagerly return when it's not so noisy. A great meal!
