This stunning 14th century pub in the unspoilt village of Kinnerley offers beautifully prepared seasonal fare alongside delicious pub classics. Offering real ales from local breweries and a interesting winelist. If the sun is shining dine or enjoy a drink in the beer garden with its village green charm.

Warwick Kidd started his career as a part time pot washer at Ludlow's Michelin starred La Becasse under Head Chef Will Holland. His natural ability meant it wasn't long before he was starting to cook and his career soon blossomed. He moved away from Ludlow to gather experience which took him to France, where he cooked for 2 Michelin starred Jean-Luc Rabanel.

Zach Hermon's career started at the age of 15. He has worked at some of the country's most prestigious restaurants including Raymond Blanc's 2 Michelin starred 'Le Manoir aux quat saisons' and more recently 2 Michelin starred 'Moor Hall' in Lancashire - Winner of first place at The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards.

We visit the Cross Keys for Sunday lunch each time we are away in Oswestry (twice a year) If I lived closer I would be heading here on a very regular basis. The staff are so friendly, the pub so cosy & the food just delicious. The portions are so generous and piping hot. A must booking if you are in the area.

We return many times to The Cross Keys for the lovely ambience of the warmth of the pub. The staff are always friendly and do everything to make sure your looked after. Ellis is always very helpful with nothing too much trouble. The food is always exceptional and can’t wait to return very soon, Christmas is always very special there. In our opinion one of the best pubs around. Long May it continue.

Delicious food - had 2 course set menu. Soup the best, and fish & chips - yummy!! Service fabulous- really lovely staff.

I have been intending to visit here for a while and finally booked in for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is immaculate and well presented. The welcome was warm and friendly. Service was excellent and staff were all great. Sunday lunch was superb and plenty of it. Why do I cook when I can enjoy such a good meal here!! Well prepared and an excellent selection of vegetables to accompany the roast pork. Great pint also. Thank you for a great afternoon and we will be back very soon.

Food was excellent, Abit different to normal pub food, beautifully presented, very tasty. The staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again when we are near there.
