A gem of a village pub serving pizzas, artisan burgers, pub classics with great pints and playgrounds. Set in the North Herts village of Weston. Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday.
Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen!
Our patio area is now available for bookings to guarantee your table outside, you can also order from our full restaurant menu!

    Love having Sunday lunch at The Cricketers. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious food. We came with our dog as it is very dog friendly and no issues at all with him being there

    Nice venue, cricket themed. Clean and tidy in the bar area (and toilets) with a big restaurant at the back. Three "real " ales on hand pulls, great to see. Several locals popped in during lunch also a good sign. Few diners when we visited and therefore quiet. Our opinions varied on the "piggy" pie - one unhappy that it seemed to be 80% sausage plus bacon and couldn't identify the supposed third variety of pork. I just thought it was delicious and didn't mind. The diner who had the burger, sent it back to be warmed up. Credit to the chef though, who gave her a complete fresh one. Prices were reasonable given the current cost of eating out. Overall, I would recommend this venue.

    Fantastic lunch with my sister who'd come up from Sussex for the day. Welcomed on arrival and allowed to chose a table. Prompt, polite service, food and drinks came very quickly. Excellent fish and chips, couldn't manage a pudding, but they all sounded nice. Would highly recommend this pub, they've got it so right, well done to all concerned, we'll be back.

    Lovely afternoon with friendly staff. Possibly the roast potatoes were a bit underdone but that didn’t affect the overall experience - we’ll be back!
