A gem of a village pub serving pizzas, artisan burgers, pub classics with great pints and playgrounds. Set in the North Herts village of Weston. Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday.
Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen!
Our patio area is now available for bookings to guarantee your table outside, you can also order from our full restaurant menu!

    I accidentally booked in the bar so the ambience and service don't really apply but we had a disappointing visit yesterday compared to our amazing meal last month, both times for a roast dinner. Yrsterday my roast potatoes were clearly reheated and undercooked too, (not very brown and crispy). They were that unpleasant I had to leave them and the chicken was a leg with hardly any meat on. I'll think twice about returning so soon.

    We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Cricketers. The staff were friendly and accommodating, for instance turning the music down for us as one of our group is hard of hearing. We will definitely return

    We booked a table for 3pm and didn’t get a table until nearly 3:30, then we sat for 20 minutes before we were given menus, then had about 2 minutes to look before someone came back to take our order. Order was taken incorrectly, starter was never brought but had an extra chicken roast dinner brought to us (not ordered) and was also put onto our bill. Food was lovely, so at least there was that!

    Great Staff & delicious food. Quite pricey. More Veg as sides on some dishes would be nice. Cola wasn't great.

    We enjoyed our lasagne and pizzas with my son for his 16th birthday. The waitress even put a candle on his pudding which was very sweet. We enjoy visiting The Cricketers, the dining area has a lovely ambience. Thank you!

    Booked a table in the Pavilion, but seated in the bar. Had to serve ourselves, no table service. Staff were polite and helpful but we did not get what we booked for. Prices same for both areas, we were prepared to be disappointed from previous experiences, they did not let us down!!!
