The new Court decor is stunning. Very comfortable, elegant and stylish. The only negative was the salt and pepper shakers which were owls, dogs etc. This did not fit in and should be changed. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and a great choice of dishes for lunch. Service was attentive and welcoming. Once ordered it seemed to take a long time for the food to be served from the kitchen but was worth the wait. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return very soon.

A wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, superbly cooked, hot and well presented. Equally, the service and ambiance were excellent. Staff were attentive and engaging yet discreet when we were enjoying our food. We dined early prior to attending a local theatre and would definitely recommend The Court for a visit. Two very satisfied customers!

This restaurant would have been wonderful if it didn’t take over 2 hours to complete a meal between 2 people. The service was dreadfully slow every step of the way.

Fabulous. My sisters 80th birthday Afternoon Tea experience was everything I hoped and more. The staff, food, ambience etc had her raving long after we left, thank you again, Alan ( Macdonald )

So disappointed by what has been done to this “revamped “ venue. It used to be a comfortable and welcoming go to space to meet friends in the middle of the city but no more unfortunately. Layout is a bit odd and messy. The music did not enhance our visit. Service was ok though a bit slow. It was noisy and no longer a comfortable space to be in. The worst aspect of the refurb however is the lighting. It is unpleasantly bright and a bit lacking in imagination and warmth. It completely spoils the space and atmosphere. We left after one drink which was not what we had planned.
