My wife & I decided to try The Commodore for our 15th anniversary. We are both really happy with that decision. We had been fans of the Seven Seas which was the previous restaurant at this location. What was a bit dated was now beautifully renovated in a way to feel authentic, like it was the original. Having been to several Bartoltta restaurants, we were expecting the best. We did get the best. The sea scallop appetizer was delicious. My wife had the waygu new york strip and I had the filet. I should of had the waygu as well. The filet was perfectly cooked but that waygu was awesome. All the servers were excellent. It was a really nice experience. We both look forward to our next special occasion. We want to thank everyone there for giving us such a nice evening. I would also recommend downloading the Bartolotta app before going.

Wellington was outstanding as was all the food. Staff was extremely accommodating. Service was impeccable for the first 1/2 of our meal… then fell off a bit (they got slammed with a big party) nothing that won’t keep us from coming back.

First time at Commodores, and service was superb! Food was delish and our waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu as I have food allergies. This is definitely a high end restaurant and the prices reflect that. Wonderful having a Bartolotta restaurant in the neighborhood and I look forward to a view of Nagawicka lake during a summer visit!

I was so excited to finally get a reservation at The Commodore. I reviewed the menu before going and was very impressed with the selection. I made the reservation for 6 PM on Friday 12/13. We were on time and were greeted by a hostess and told they were running a "little" behind our reservation time and invited us to wait in the bar. We were lucky to find three seats, but it was at a side table. Not enough room at the bar. We sat there for over one hour and yes, we kept checking with the hostess to make sure we had not been forgotten. We were not seated until a little after 7!!! We were starving and ask for dinner menu right away. We were given a half a roll with butter and some water. The three of us ordered a steak that included wilted spinach, so we shared a potato dish and two other vegetables. We got the steaks quickly but were disappointed. Everything but the scalloped potatoes were lukewarm and the steak was covered with Bearnaise Sauce. It was disappointing. I felt so sorry for Alyssa, our server. She did her best given the circumstances and I made it clear to her that we did not fault her for the meal but did want to speak to the manager. Anna, the manager came over and was very gracious. She did give us a substantial discount. She also offered a complementary dessert. She explained that due to the holiday, people were lingering longer at the tables and that is why it got so backed up. I suggested that in the future they should consider having two, two-hour seating times in order to avoid the backup. We did not take her up on the dessert offer. It was getting late, and we lived quite a distance away. They handled everything very professionally. Let's hope they take my suggestion. I'm sure our dinner would have been delicious had it been served on time and at the proper temperature.

It was a great evening. Service was excellent. And also fun and engaging. Food was excellent. The Wellington 2 did not disappoint. The beef was tender and delivered and the presentation outstanding- really feels special.

We celebrated our friends retirement at the Commodore. We added an extra person to our party and they were able to accommodate our group. The food, the drinks, the dessert and the atmosphere were all excellent.
