Chef Larry Jayasekara has approached the project as a custodian, preserving and enhancing the 4-story building. Classically trained but undefined by any particular style, Larry offers a cuisine that, at its core, is all about the joy of eating. Given his 20 years of experience in fine dining, he has curated relationships with a select list of fishers and artisan producers to source the finest ingredients in Britain and overseas. With access to regenerative mixed farmland in Northamptonshire, The Cocochine kitchen enjoys fruit, vegetables, seasonal flowers and livestock, including game as well as native and rare-breed pigs direct from the farm. The menu features modern and refined dishes such as Tanera Island Poached Langoustine Leek, Morel, Lemongrass and 40-day Aged Rowler Estate Beef Fillet Maitake, Red Wine Jus.
Every element of the restaurant is considered, and the experience, from the outset and throughout, is about personal connection and old-school hospitality.

    Lovely understated but quality interior, with a warm ambience. Michelin star cooking - with no particular geographic/cuisine dominant. Astonishing bread. Great value lunch menu. Great wine selection, albeit pricey.

    One of my best meals of 2024. I couldn’t fault a single thing and the set lunch menu at £49 is incredible value given the quality of the food

    Disappointing. Had expected a lot more given the excellent reviews. Service was excellent, but the food, despite being well cooked, just did not blend together too well. A lot of foie gras and caviar unnecessarily added making the food quite rich. The wine list is expensive and, frankly, the 2022 chablis we had was very average. There were some nice touches, but not enough to have me return. I feel like the food was being cooked to cater for an instagram international crowd, rather than a domestic one. It was also very empty, and there were only two other diners.

    Amazing experience, food and service was good, really enjoyed the evening with friends and they took us around to see the whole restaurant, the wine fridge is a must see!!!

    Exceptional food in a great setting. We sat on the chefs counter as I always love to see a kitchen and is a really good opportunity to ask the chefs anything more you might need to about the food. Larry's personality and style really comes through in the dishes and is ultimately all super tasty and indulgent.
