   The lamb was so incredibly tender and soft. It was served with the loveliest local dark potatoes and roasted vegetables as well as a puree and tasty natural jus. The arancini was succulent and warming. The staff were very accommodating and even produced a cheeseboard despite it not being on the menu. Thank you for a warm, and memorably delicious evening.

   I really love this restaurant I've always had a good experience and I brought a group with me the other night I was a little concerned in case it didn't measure up to my usual expectation but I needn't have worried everybody found the food was excellent the service was superb. The staff were wonderful. I really recommend this place, for Good Food good ambience and excellent service.

   Our group of 7 had a good selection of dishes. The meal was exceptional with lots of ooo's and ahhh's after the first bites, and even the follow-on bites. This is a fine dining experience in a very relaxed environment, which was important as we came in our hiking gear just off the Wicklow mountains from our day hike. Thank you for the lovely meal, we'll be back again.

   We had a great overall experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. No matter what, we’ll definitely be coming back with friends in the future! The service was generally good, but it seemed like today was particularly busy, which may have contributed to the long wait times. Our first course took 40 minutes to arrive, and after finishing our meal, we had to wait a long time for the dessert menu, which the server forgot to bring after we requested them. Even when it came to paying the bill, we ended up waiting so long that we had to call a server over. Interestingly, we noticed that other tables were being served quickly and smoothly, so we couldn’t help but wonder—why was our table the exception?

    Myself and my Mother went here for dinner last Saturday March 22. It was my first time here since the new owners took it over and it was been done beautifully. Positives: - Restaurant itself is beautiful, nice music, comfortable chairs and a very charming lady at the front desk with a lovely manner. -Staff in general were lovely. Negatives: - Food was extremely disappointing. We shared a starter of chicken liver pate, which was pleasant, nothing remarkable but decent. Main courses were where things really went downhill. I ordered Monkfish and my Mother ordered vegetarian Gnocchi. My monkfish was dry and bland, and I really didn't enjoy it all, so much so that I couldn't finish it, and the portions are not huge. My Mothers dish was very poorly presented, a few pieces of gnocchi on what looked like a lot of spinach, I tasted it and it was also dry and flavorless. We shared a dessert of tiramisu, which was ok, not great, just ok. Such a shame as the place itself is lovely. I live locally but wouldn't go back as apart from the food being a huge disappointment, the menu is very meat based. It has 1 non meat option on the starters and 1 on the main courses. I'm not a vegetarian but would often prefer a non meat option and the lack of choice here is unusual in this day and age. We made our feelings known to the lovely lady on the front desk, and 3 items were taken off our bill as a gesture, which is good, however, I wouldn't go back.
