   Had to recook my filet on multiple visits. I asked to speak to the manager last night, and the waitress advised she gave us a free dessert rather than talk to the manager about the mistakes. The more I think about it, I think I should have made a bigger deal about it.

   The waiting staff did a fantastic job taking care of our small party of 4 as we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Abby and others on the staff were excellent. The food was great! And the ambiance was very good. We enjoyed being able to talk to each other and hear what was said! It was quiet atmosphere. Thank you!

   I got the chicken fried chicken and double mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side and a sweet tea. It’s usually big enough to share so my daughter and I split it. The sweet tea was very weak. It was like drinking sugar water. I asked for another one and it was the same. The waitress asked if it was any better. I told her it was the same. She asked if I wanted to try another but I asked her to see if the other pitcher was the same. She came back and said it was the same. I always get the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Something was off with the gravy and the mashed potatoes were just warm and not hot. The chicken was great though.

   It was our first time eating at The Chop House. Everything was wonderful from the service to the food. And the prices were less than other restaurants of this quality. Between my wife and I, we had a 10oz sirloin with loaded baked potato, teriyaki chicken with broccoli. Two side salads, one big desert and one soft drink for around $75 + tip. Every single thing was delicious. Even the fresh broccoli (that was a really vivid green) was outstanding. And the Strawberry Butter Cake was a great way to end the meal. Warm thick cake with ice cream and strawberries... Perfect amount to split with two people.
