   Our group of six came here after the opera. The food was amazing. The service was as amazing. We sat in the back room which was new for us. It was the perfect late night dinner at what that night—last night—was a perfect restaurant.

   The service was excellent! Our cocktails were exceptional- very well balanced. Our steak tartar entree was divine. But the 2 pasta entrees we had were not good. One tasted exactly like a can of spaghetti Os and the one with wagu beef was utterly tasteless. It literally had no taste. I asked for salt and pepper just to taste something.

   My wife and I celebrated our 7th anniversary (lucky 7). From the moment we arrived and was greeted by Oliver at the Valet stand, we felt welcomed by his genuine banter, and he gave great menu recommendations too. Nina our hostess, Chelsea our server and the whole team from Josiah, Nate, Jonathon and Austin, made us feel special celebrating our anniversary at The Charles. We can’t wait to go back and take some friends with us.

   I have been to The Charles a few times and I am shocked that it’s not a Michelin star restaurant! The staff, the management, even the Valet staff will treat you like a close friend. The service at The Charles is second to none in the DFW metroplex. Then there’s the amazing food. I’ve had several items off the menu for the past few years and I have never had a bad meal at The Charles. The grilled octopus is a MUST and the best I’ve had anywhere. The other selections are all amazing as well. If you’re in the Dallas area, it’s a must (if you can get a reservation). You won’t be disappointed.

   The service was outstanding from the second we pulled up to the valet stand, and the speakeasy in the back is a cool feature

   Dinner was fabulous. Drinks were well crafted and suggested based on our food choices. Kara and Max were attentive and made great recommendations. Nate and Josiah made us feel welcome. All of the staff looked happy and invested in The Charles. We will be back for sure.

   We loved returning to The Charles. From the moment we valeted the car to our delicious dessert was outstanding. The service above and beyond, Winter was a delightful conductor of our evening’s delicacies. We enjoyed the two appetizer specials - the stuffed squash blossoms was the clear favorite, so creamy inside yet crunchy out, paired with the little celery salad to cut the richness. YUM! Nice price point for wines, we enjoyed a lovely Chablis we had not had before. Wonderful experience - worth every penny and a return.

    My boyfriend and I dined here for his birthday celebration, and I cannot rave enough about how great this was. Not only did the host say happy birthday to him, our waiter said happy birthday to him, and the manager came by and said happy birthday as well. The service was impeccable. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Dallas. Our waiter, James, was so nice and kind and I’d love to go back and have him.
