The Wine Cave and Tasting Room allows for a traditional wine tasting experience that isn’t mixed with a restaurant experience. The Cave consists of an underground 1,000 sq. ft. Wine Tasting Room and adjoining 4,500 sq. ft. wine barrel cave for wine barrel aging. The intimate Tasting Room will be open select hours for traditional style wine tasting experiences and tours. Exclusive wine club access, Gervasi events, and private events will all be offered in The Cave. The wine barrel cave will house all of Gervasi Vineyard’s growing wine barrel aging and showcase unique educational opportunities during tours.

    It’s all about the Wine! Wine Tasting Experience at The Cave, Semi-Private space, parties size 8-16. Wine tasting experience conducted by Wine Ambassador at the table, tasting selection is the same for all guests, four 1.5oz wine tastings and antipasti board (NO full food menu, NO full bar menu). Experience typically lasts 45 minutes, use of space is capped at 1 hour. We recommend guests bring a light jacket or sweater, as the Wine Barrel Cave is an active barrel aging room with cool temperatures and high humidity. Cancellation more than 48 hours prior, guest may reschedule for another date or receive a full refund of the deposit. Any cancellations received less than 48 hours prior, will result in the forfeiture of the entire deposit.

    We made the reservation for 8 people and got to experience a semi private room surrounded by the wine barrels. Our host was amazing! She had energy, knowledge, and really helped our group (women in our early 50s) have an amazing experience! We highly recommend!

    I really enjoyed the intimate experience we had at The Cave however I wish I knew that I would not have the opportunity to do more wine tasting. I was not aware that the tasting room closed at 730pm or I would have never reserved at 630pm. Secondly the food we ate when pairing was never replenished once gone. The education provided by our host was exceptional. I would definitely visit again.

    We had a group of 12 and they seated us in a private room downstairs. It was a very nice setting but loud. Mostly, because we were a loud group.

    Wonderful experience in the Cave for wine tasting. The wines were very good, the small bite/charcuterie was delicious and the experience of food tasting paired with individual wines was very informative. Would highly recommend.

    The Cave was a great new addition to Gervasi ! We loved it !! It’s such a cool place — loved the atmosphere, the huge table and charcuterie set up and the wine barrels etc .. so fun !! The wine was wonderful too ! Great experience!
