Fabulous environment but unfortinately had to ask twice for service and again to ask where our starter was 50 minutes after the order. 8 had said it was a special occasion on my booking and this was disappointing and frustrating.

One of our favourite places to eat. Food was tasty and beer and wine were great. Gammon was very nice. Disappointed in the 'salad' - just a small pile of one type of leaf, so glad we ordered the extra broccoli, but at £6.00 this meant an expensive course. Why not just include a vegetable? Nice atmosphere, very cosy, with tables very close, so not a place for private conversations. £59.00 for 2, just one course and 2 drinks each. Booked online. Too many follow up text messages, please stop these. Will ring next time!

Lovely atmosphere, especially at Christmas. Unfortunately, there was no dedicated Christmas menu and the food wasn't quite as good as the last time we visited. However, the staff were very nice and attentive. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but the value for money was not the best, probably due to businesses having to tighten their belts after the budget!

Really poor experience. Meals forgotten, kids left waiting over an hour for food, adults fed and then asked whether the last child could wait a few more minutes so clearly forgotten to be cooked. To top it off, told there was no festive menu, then saw the table next door enjoying the festive menu. We were told they pre booked even though I put on the app that we were requesting the festive menu and nothing on the menus to say that you have to rebook. No genuine apologies, clearly undertrained staff, mismanagement/lack of management. Christmas meal utterly spoiled. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately our visit was not as good as previously. We were very cold although our server did go and put some heating on it took to long to warm up adequately. We waited a long time, 35 minutes for our order to be taken and another 40 minutes for it to come even though we could only see one other table of people. When it finally arrived my nieces fish was burnt on the bottom, my sister’s and my Caesar salad he’d the bacon missing which we only realised when we’d begun to eat it and because there was no server in sight took even longer to ask about by which time we’d finished the meal. £2.47 was taken off the bill for each - the cost of the bacon - but no acknowledgment of the substandard meal and our lack of enjoyment of it as a result. When she was with us the server was keen to help and very pleasant. Eating a meal and dessert took 2.5 hours with massive waits so overall not a good experience. We won’t be visiting again I don’t think.

We had a lovely lunchtime meal at the Cadeby Inn. The food was excellent, atmosphere was very quiet and we were not rushed at all, very helpful and attentive staff.

Lovely food in a really nice looking venue. We ordered from the three course Christmas Sunday menu. As we were eating our staters, the mains started to come out so were taken away again. We then had to wait 45 minutes between starter and main and due to the delay we were rushed from our table without being given the option to order pudding . A staff member said we could have pudding in another room or take them away but this put us off. In addition we were not offered additional drinks.

Overall a pleasant experience, but could have been better. Went for the Sunday lunch , both ham hocks were perfect, think we could have done with another piece of bread with how big the ham hock was though. It did take some Time for our starters to be cleared, as we were the only table in this area we felt a bit left abandoned, and found it hard to get the staffs attention when our glasses and plates were empty. It would have been good to have someone check in as our glasses were empty. An easy upsell that the staff could have done. We both went for beef which was beautiful, the only downside was the sides were abit pricey for £6.00. But still very nice. Decor of the building was lovely. The local beer was good, although when we asked about the brewery, the staff didn’t know much about it.

Tried to book for 12.30pm but unable to do so - time blocked. Don't know why - the restaurant was deserted throughout our visit. The three burgers ordered were not just rare they were raw and cold inside. Staff very apologetic, brought extra chips, offered free drinks, but it took a long time to get properly cooked burgers - by which time chips had filled the gap! Front of house staff were very embarrassed. We are glad we looked properly at the food before tucking in otherwise it would have been a worse outcome. This was my husband's 70th birthday treat - such a disappointment.
