Our menu changes with the seasons and evolves daily ensuring the ingredients are of the freshest quality. At the weekends you can also come and enjoy one of our famous Sunday lunches.

We source our cask ales from local brewers and design our wine list to compliment our food.

The Brown Dog is a lovely local pub, hidden away in the back streets of Barnes like a calm oasis. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was delicious, especially the Sunday roast, which was one of the best roasts I've ever eaten.

Great night at the brown dog Friday 6.5.22. We sat outside and the waitress service and smell of fresh pizzas. Both perfect!

Booked table outside because BD website said "...we have just completely covered and heated our beautiful terrace...", however no table, heater or covering set up for us, despite re-confirming. Very cold, no-one else outside, but BD didn't bother to contact us, nor to save us a table inside. Inside utter chaos: massively 'over-crowded', cramped tables placed ridiculously close together, people stood at bar shouting to be heard, very hot, therefore slow service. Food looked good, but avoid busy Friday or Saturday nights because they clearly over-book!

A favourite neighbourhood pub - food is all excellent and massive portions so great value. The pizzas are excellent. Very hospitable and friendly staff and of course super dog friendly! It’s a real gem in the Barnes area!
