   Fantastic food, a bit pricey for the area but high quality food which is hard to find up there. Service was slow but I think our server was new and its super hard to find good workers up there, especially anyone with server experience. The place is a bit cold, old building. I hope they find a place and go full time!

   The Branch offers the best food in Twain Harte! The owner/chef is a talent. Seven of us dined recently and there wasn’t a miss. The crab cakes, pozole, sliders. Potato rounds stood out . The lemon cheesecake was among the best I have had! The restaurant is located in a small little cottage in downtown Twain Harte. It is intimate , not many tables. We prefer to be seated on the side porch dining room away from the open kitchen and close together seating. The lighting in the porch area could be a bit warmer to enhance the ambiance a little. Overall, we are fortunate to have food of this quality in our little mountain town! Be sure to give it a try.

   We did a La carte dining this past weekend. Had a rather long wait for second seating but we were comped a bevvie round and the staff was super nice. Food quantity was robust and flavors were good. We always enjoy our dinners there

   Second time doing tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Everything was presented well and tasted better. Very intimate experience. Staff are very personable and attentive. We will attend the next new tasting menu.

   Food was impeccably prepared, small restaurant that allows great interactions with Chef Matt & his wonderful staff. Great recommendations on wine & beer selections. Exquisite pairings of spices and ingredients. Can’t wait to go back.
