   I made reservations to have dinner at this restaurant for Tuesday, March 4. I have an email confirming my reservation. We arrived there promptly on time only to find out that the restaurant was closed! Needless to say, this was a huge inconvenience!

   Not what we were expecting from the time we walked up then immediately walked out. Had to ask for table we were seated at to be cleaned not to mention other obvious things that the experience would not be enjoyed.

   Ambience was quiet and cozy. Staff was friendly. Food was pretty good. Limited menu, but adequate. Live music was a nice touch. Bartender might have been new, but a little slow to deliver drinks. One and done for us.

   Our server was awesome. We enjoyed a mix of the Happy Hour menu and the regular menu. Beautiful interior and tasty bar food.

   They were “out” of almost all of the food on the menu. 2/3 cocktails that our group ordered were undrinkable. At one point we asked the waitress for another share plate and she told us they were “out of plates”. The place was almost empty for good reason. The service was laughably bad.

   Unfortunately it was so bad, we left early into the service. It was not at all what was photoed, the tables were sticky, the glasses dirty, no tea or sodas, and the smell of the place was pretty off putting. Haven’t left a restaurant but twice in my life, this was the third. The restaurant concept is great, but the management might want to clean up the place, and fix their equipment. Sorry that the review isn’t positive.

   First, let me state that The Bombay Club instantly became a FAVORITE for me! The first time I came to NO I was taken to all the touristy places and hated it! Then I stepped in here: Great music, atmosphere, the crowd cool but fun. The drinks were phenomenal! Crafted by professionals, which is the whole point I go to a bar! Every time since then has been equally as good! This time not so much. First it seemed understaffed. Ok. Happens. No one at the host station. We and another couple ahead walked in asked where we could sit. It was still early-ish so there was hardly anyone there. We sat at the bar. Our seats were near the musicians, but across the room. The door was kept open for some reason. Everyone complained about it being cold, but the door was still open. There were only two young ladies working the front. One likely in the back, as we only saw her once or twice. The bartender was extremely nice, friendly, personable. My only "complaint" here is it seemed more like wasn't a bartender, but a waitress acting as a bartender capacity. Again, a place like this should always have experienced bartenders not just one that's learning. When we asked for a fairly simple cocktail {GOLD RUSH}, she was happy to oblige, but she needed to look it up. It tasted ok, but it wasn't prepared properly, attempting to use regular honey instead of honey syrup. So the honey seized and couldn't properly sweeten the drink. Her other drinks were ok. Again lacking certain ingredients and qualities that come with experience. The drinks could have been terrible and I may not have minded as much if everything else were in line. There was water on the floor. Which seemed to come from a possibly faulty dishwasher. Cleaning and polishing solutions, rags and such on a part of the bar near drink ingredients. Things I probably wouldn't blink at if I were getting a beer at the neighborhood corner bar. That is NOT what I expect here. I do plan to come back. I DO LOVE this bar! I hope it improves.

    SIMPLY PUT, THIS ESTABLISHMENT WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED. NO MUSIC, NO WAITER, FOOD ON TABLES, FOOD ON THE FLOORS, MENUS BALANCING TABLES, MENUS WITH FOOD ON THEM! WOULD NOT TAKE ANYONE THAT WOULD LIKE A QUALITY MEAL HERE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SERVICE DOESN’T MATCH THE PRICES. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE; WE ENDED UP WALKING OUT!
