   Had a nice Sunday lunch. Beef was overdone for my liking but that’s risk you take. Food was nice, generous portions and extra mash, veg and gravy if needed. Staff attentive. Try to avoid sitting in front of the big fireplace as it’s freezing!

   Food was good , and good value. However not the most relaxing place to eat . Loud music , is it a pub or a restaurant we ate in ? People constantly walking past to get to the toilets. Felt like we were sitting in a corridor. No one asked if our food was ok.

   Booked for a quiet date night for two . Table all prepared ready for when we arrived in a nice quiet corner , were asked if table was ok and given the option to move if required. We were happy . Ordered drinks which were put on a tab , ordered crispy pork belly and my partner had the JD sizzling beef , food arrived hot and was absolutely delicious. Service was great and nothing too much trouble. Had a lovely romantic evening and would definitely recommend. Well done to The Boat inn ! Will definitely return in the near future.

   Food perfectly fine although nothing amazing, nice little pub, friendly staff, would return for a drink and a quick bite but not for a special occasion meal.

   Another lovely lunch with family. Excellent table service as always and friendly, helpful bar staff. We all tried different main courses and everyone enjoyed their choices. The Tuesday 2 for 1 deal and the daily lunch menu are really good value.

    We have visited here several times now . The food is fantastic with a good variety of choice on the menu. The staff are courteous and efficient . Would highly recommend .
