A warm welcome from our family lead team, a seasonal menu of European and British dishes sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients sits along side a regularly changing specials board. Simon, Tom and the kitchen team are incredibly passionate about their food and offering dishes that you will want to eat.

A well chosen range of wines, beers and spirits, sourced from local suppliers offer something for every thirst!

The pub has a great feel with a statement dining room, dog friendly Agricultural Bar and unique and stunning garden for the sunny days. We hope everyone will enjoy their visit to us

    I came to the Boars last night with a friend, I have been before and enjoyed the lovely food and welcome. On this occasion unfortunately there was a mix up and my friends food was brought out and I had to wait for mine, sadly by the time mine came to the table my friend had almost finished their main. The food was good and service after was attentive on a no doubt busy evening for the staff but this did slightly marr the meal for me I will admit. I'm sure it was just a one off and I understand mistakes can happen at busy times when people are under pressure.

    We had a fabulous dinner for four in the cosy agriculture bar. Food and service were top notch.All four of us had something different and all dishes and puddings were excellent with such lovely service.

    We had been not long ago looking for a place where you can eat on Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised at the standard of the food. All dishes were delicious and the tarte tatin the icing on the cake. We went back last night and again excellent food in a cosy room with wood burner. Very good service too. Would recommend.
