   Food was lovely, atmosphere was great , wasn’t too noisy. The service was good but a little slow between servings . It was busy so it’s understandable… Overall it was amazing

   Food was lovely, but main was served a bit cold, they put it right as soon as we mentioned it. everything else was great.

   Friendly pub with a varied menu. We dined on a Sunday so opted for the roast. Very delicious. Dog friendly too so an added bonus. Will return

   Seated on a lovely table in its own area. Food was lovely although quite pricey for a roast however good quantity and quality. Pudding delicious Service great.

   Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Reheated meat (it appeared) as it was fairly dry. Also congealed gravy with skin on it. My partners pork was very fatty. My lamb was just overdone.

   We had the best Sunday lunch in a long time, food was amazing, we didn’t want our roast beef to end. Service was brilliant so helpful, highly recommend

    It was booked for our anniversary. We arrived on time and nobody welcomed us or said we won’t be a moment, we were just left standing at the bar without acknowledgment. When we were shown to our table it wasn’t friendly at all. We were kept waiting for 10 minutes before being asked if we would like a drink. The drinks arrived 10 minutes later. The food took 20 minutes. Not the best celebration for our anniversary and we won’t be rushing back there.

    Dear Michael, I am sorry you had to wait for your drinks and the food taking 20 minutes cooking from fresh is not acceptable. we have gone back to a find a table and order at the bar. we will do table service if you book in advance, but we are going back to being a Pub. if you chose to come back please ask for myself or Vicki. thank you jason & Vicki & the blue ball team
