Great experience, good food, good wine, very knowledgeable staff. A hidden gem of a place and we can't wait to visit again which is a must do when in St Albans

Lovely night out at the Bishop’s cave. Excellent selection of wines and cheeses with friendly and attentive staff complementing this. Great place for catching up with friends!

Would highly recommend the Bishops Cave. They have a great choice of cheeses and the Pate was also very good. The food is nicely presented and they were happy to provide more crackers when we ran out. They have a great selection of wines to choose from and they are always happy to give advice on both the cheeses and wine if you need it.

Another great night at Bishops Cave! Ruby and the rest of the hospitality staff were top notch. Food and ambience are excellent. Highly recommend Bishops Cave for a relaxed evening to kick start your weekend or any other night.

Fantastic atmosphere, very attentive staff who were happy to explain all aspects of the menu. Very enjoyable Father’s Day and will definitely be retuning!

The best secret in St Albans. A wonderful experience. So laid back and yet amazing service. Wine and cheese was so good. Will be back. 5 stars easily. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
