   Enjoyable Mother’s Day lunch overall. Seating area by step to rear dining area needs maintenance as literally every time someone walked past the floor and table shook. Starters good, main course also. Yorkshire Puddings too crisp in our view, no softer bits to the Yorkie. Overall an enjoyable experience, thank you.

   First time visiting and will definitely be back. Great front of house team, enthusiastic about the menu and recommendations. Cant wait to visit in the summer - outside area looks great too.

   Great food served by people who genuinely care. Not cheap but worth the price. £12-£15 for starters, around £20-30 and upwards for steak and other main courses. Large glass of Merlot was about £10. Dog friendly pub in a beautiful part of Berkshire just outside Maidenhead. We've been there over a few years and standards have not dropped at all. Recommended

   Excellent food quality and service. Very informal as stated on web site. Establishment should make clear up front that restaurant diners may be seated anywhere including open bar area in which dogs are allowed. However, after raising this issue we were offered a different table albeit in a very squashed area which we declined. The staff informed us on leaving that they had noted our preference for dining in the non bar area for any future booking.

    Great dinner for four, nice warm and quiet place, very professional service, well kept bitter and the food was better than expected, really good quality, fresh and decent portions.
