   Menu sounded great but very overpriced for what it must have cost to make. Ham hock pie looked great….but inside was little actual meat along with big chunks of potato……all served on bed of mash with some very earthy green veg on the side. Lots of carbs for £25! Starter of salted beetroot with goats cheese & pickled blackberries sounded amazing……a very small portion…smothered in a very well toasted biscuit crumb……£10.50! Very disappointing. I have eaten here before and had some lovely food, but tonight it was only the company that made the evening.

   We go here two or three times a month and I must say the food this time was simply the BEST ever …. Our dishes were Mussels and Ham Hock Pie …. The sauce on the former was amazing and the pie, brilliant!! Thanks heaps

   A welcoming, festive ambience, as we lunched at the Bear of North Moreton. The food was delicious, and I was well catered for being dairy intolerant. The drinks were spot on too. Very relaxing and memorable experience.

   First time experiencing the roast dinner and we were not disappointed. Normally have room for desert, but the amount of meat and trimmings (which can be topped up at ypur request) was amazing. Service from all staff fantastic and done with a smile and friendly demeanor. The Guinness is pretty decent too....all in all a great experience and worth the money

    A spur of the moment booking but so glad we did! The staff were incredible, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. Had a Sunday lunch and tried their Hollygog pudding - so good!! Very welcoming of our 18 month old babe and our dog. Would 100% visit again next time we're in the area!
