The Bath Arms is located in the heart of Cheddar and just a short walk away from Cheddar Gorge and caves. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offer exceptional accommodation in the form of 6 beautiful ensuite bedrooms. Awarded 2AA rosettes for the last four years in a row for our restaurant and 4 gold star inn for our hotel in 2017, we work hard to provide our guests with the highest level of customer service and a quality experience across all aspects of the hotel. Chef Mark Horton and his team work hard to produce a quality favourites menu with hearty pub classics and an à la carte specials menu. Both menus use seasonal produce and the highest quality ingredients, with full traceability.

A perfect dinning experience for two 80 year olds, 50 year old daughter and 16 year old granddaughter. Warm cosy and busy on a cold Saturday night. Excellent range of starters, would recommend the sharing camembert, salted squid and very interesting French onion soup. Chicken risotto provided enough chicken for Billy to eat when we got home. Slow cooked pork melted in your mouth and black pudding was memorable. Only problem was the size of the portions, no room to try puddings so had to make do with good strong coffee.

We had 2 nights here with a fabulous breakfast and dinner. Staff were friendly and very professional. We could not fault the whole stay in a lovely hotel & village. We will definitely return and can recommend the Bath Arms with 100% confidence that all will enjoy their stay.

The restaurant meals were excellent, top quality. However we felt rather chilly which did detract from an otherwise happy lunch time experience.

We booked online, good carpark. Our reservation was for the restaurant where there is table service , you can reserve the bar area but its order at the bar. We had Sunday lunch there are no starters which is unusual but when you see the size of the main course you can see why. Roast chicken was great as was the pork, desserts were the right size . Good value will definitely go back .

We got a last minute Sunday afternoon reservation and it was excellent. We opted for topside of beef and rolled pork belly roasts - both were delicious. The portions were generous and great value for money. The staff were all super friendly. A lovely experience and we will definitely be returning when we visit the area again! Thank you.
