The chicken piccata was out of this world good as were all of the entrees we ordered! The good was served very promptly.

We ordered the pork chop and seared tuna which were both excellent and among the best entrees we ever had. Our table was in the room next to the bar and the ambience was cozy and conducive to conversation. The service was lacking in that the server was not experienced but we did get our food in a timely manner and the superb entrees made up for the service.

The history of the house adds to the ambiance of your dining experience. The meals that were ordered and all eaten were delicious. The wine selection is abundant and we all enjoyed our bottles. Thank you to the friendly and certainly gifted staff there for coming around and checking in on us. And let's not forget the savory desserts which were devoured by all of us.

We have loved every visit we have made to The Barton House. The service is amazing and so is the food. They made my birthday extra special this year.

The food was very good and the menu options were great However, the service was unacceptable. We were ignored for 25 minutes, and had to ask for a server. We had a reservation. They apologized, but made mistakes bringing the appetizer out.

This is how customer service should be. The waiter was great and the management kept checking on us to ensure our meal was good./ The food was great!!!

In Historic Salado Tx Barton House has an outstanding ambient environment. Great food and drinks. Italian food that is the best in the area. Staff are positive and well taught on how to do their jobs
