   Excellent food, host was excellent as were the staff. Food was brought out swiftly yet we never felt hurried. Really nice location too.

   Very good food and service. The Baiting House has a laid back atmosphere that puts customers immediately at ease. We went for dinner on a busy Valentine's night and it was well organised, with efficient service and very good food. They were able to offer alternatives to the menu to cater for my dairy allergy.

   We have been going to the baiting house for some years now, Mark and the team are always friendly and welcoming. Our Sunday lunch today was one of the best we have had, we started with a chicken Pate on brioche toast (sounds simple, but it really isn’t , small pickled onions and roasted nuts make it taste special) we both had beef for our main meal and then a treacle tart with miso and vanilla ice cream, it was truly exceptional ❤️

    Quite exceptional. Great food without pomp or fuss and more than adequate portions so that we arrived hungry and left pleasantly replete. Delightful staff. Attentive. Good value. We'll be back thanks to The Baiting House
