   Attended Thanksgiving at The Alderman and it was wonderful. I had a the Fig Gimlet at the bar before dinner and the bartenders were fantastic! Julio & Maria my servers were just wonderful. The food was really impressive. The endive salad was one of the best I’ve had. I also believe this was the first perfectly cooked turkey I’ve ever had. My family’s is always lovely, but this was above and beyond. Thank you for the wonderful holiday!

   We had a long-standing reservation for 8. They put us at a table for 6 and told us there was nothing they could do. They’re too busy trying to squeeze pennies out of their tables than focusing on a quality experience so people will actually want to come back. Make your reservation elsewhere. I’m sure other places will actually give you adequate space to eat.

   My family came from out of town for Thanksgiving and we decided to role the dice on eating out. We heard horror stories. We made the mistake of not including our kids as guest for the reservation and we thought our nightmare had begun. But the hostess made an exception and it was all uphill from there. From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything was seriously perfect. I never write reviews and this place made me take the time and write one. Every manager, every server, everyone was happy to be there, even on Thanksgiving. They really made it so welcoming and inviting. Every interaction was memorable it was insane. And don’t get me started on the food. O.M.G. This place was a blessing and for thanksgiving we were thankful for each team member, the food, and overall experience. We will be back!!!!!

   All the food was wonderful, I am a garlic lover so the fresh garlic on the butter for the Parker rolls was amazing! The herb salad 🥗 was lovely.

   The pre theatre menu on their website doesn’t match the pre theatre menu they have at the restaurant. The servers weren’t overly welcoming. The food was great though.

    I really enjoyed the Alderman. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The NY vibe/ambiance definitely contributed to the experience. My one gripe is their policy toward the price fix menu. Everyone in the party must order it or no one can order it. That annoyed me because it is clearly a way to force diners to order more. My friend wanted the price fix and I wanted a la carte simply because the main course I wanted was not available on the PF menu. We were told no and therefore, had to order the bread and salad a la carte when those items were part of the PF menu. Aside from that, I would return in the future but it won't be my first choice.
