   Overall it was a wonderful experience dining in the Courtroom. Everyone was providing excellent service and trying to ensure we were attended to. The Cottage Pie was perfect! We plan on returning and we look forward to another wonderful experience. Thank you.

   The decor and vibe of the restaurant is above average. The service was about average for comparable restaurants in the area with a few minor flubs such as not clearing dirty utensils in between courses, bringing us a drink we didn’t order (and charging us for it), and forgetting my coffee. The food, overall, was disappointing. The Abner salad had little flavor. The mushroom croquettes tasted ok but the presentation was bland. Three fried balls sitting on a pool of aioli in the middle of the plate. My halibut was slightly overcooked and was completely overwhelmed by the onions used in the broth. They used a mixture of onions and carrots in the broth, like a mirepoix. The onion tasted like it had been chopped hours earlier and allowed to sit around. The cottage pie was simple but good. The basque cheesecake was the best part of dinner but the whipped cream was a bit grainy. The menu described the cheesecake as having raspberries. There was a thimble of raspberry juice and 1/2 of a raspberry on the plate.

   They did a tremendous job transforming the old courthouse into a hotel and restaurant. The service was outstanding and the food tremendous. I look forward to returning again.

    No a great experience food was cold. We were not given share plates for apps. Needs so fine tuning for sure. Will not wast my time or money again
