Situated on East Hill in Colchester, the Thai 1 Restaurant is the longest established Thai restaurant in Britain’s oldest recorded town.

    We went for a birthday meal and the whole evening was lovely. We took in a cake beforehand and they brought it to our table complete with candles and a song. The food was amazing and the atmosphere brilliant. The staff were so friendly. We will definitely go back again

    My family thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Dinner for 6 of us. Beautifully served. A nice selection on vegan menu. Corn fritters were tasty. Guys loved the giant prawns from main menu. Will definitely return to try more dishes

    As per normal food and service top notch. Would recommend the shared starter for 2 and I tried the weeping tiger which was excellent. Fantastic evening recommend you try Thai one as soon as possible you won’t be disappointed.

    Delicious food - authentic taste with the right portion. Highly recommend it! The staff is friendly and service is very quick. Parking is closeby as well. A five star experience 🥗🍜✨
