   I had a 645p reservation. Took a while to get seated which is understandable they were busy. But there were no mashed potatoes, no mushrooms and no bananas available. I feel for the price I was missing out on parts of the meal I enjoy.

   We made a reservation in advance, called to confirm our reservation the day before, and arrived on time, we stood around and weren’t seated for 15 minutes. It took another 10 minutes for our server to arrive to our table. We were sat in the back near the emergency exit door and it was FREEZING. We barely saw our waiter (not his fault, it was packed) so it was impossible to get refills for drinks. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. Not worth the value at all. It didn’t feel like fine dining, and it certainly wasn’t worth the price. I’ve had much better food and service elsewhere for WAY less money. Oh well, you live and you learn. My advice: steer clear from this location, especially during the holidays!

   Salad/side table was very good, with a wide selection. (A bit disappointed that the highly touted lobster bisque had no actual lobster in it!) Gauchos were spot on and the meats were fabulous. Food and Gauchos definitely get 5 stars. Our “server” was friendly, but pretty much absent throughout the almost 2 hours we were there. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Never asked if we needed more drinks or even water refills. (Other servers were happy to help with water refills) Pricier than similar restaurants we’ve been to downtown. Very loud.

   Arrived for an 8:00 reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our service was intermittent at best. We ordered ice water to drink, only to be served an $8 bottle of water that we neither asked for nor wanted. The meats were room temperature and gristly—it felt like we were eating the day’s leftovers. We saw our waiter maybe 3 times during our visit, and 2 of those times we had to flag him down since he was busy setting up tables, presumably for the following day. We appeared to be his only table otherwise. Why offer 8:00 reservations if the restaurant actually begins closing well before 9:00? For a meal with this high a price tag, I certainly expected a higher quality of food and service.

   Wonderful experience. Great staff, great food. The only drawback, tables are too small. The staff with the meat was kind of impatiently pushing our plates to make room, which I found irritating. Put your customers in logical placements for the circumstance.

   We had to wait to long for the meat. Salad bar was amazing. Salmon was Very fresh.

   We have been coming here for years and the last few times it has been extremely disappointing! The meat used to be so flavorful and now we feel it’s very fatty and tough. My family threw away more than they ate tonight. The hot foods on the buffet were ice cold even though they had just refilled them while I was standing there. The only good thing about tonight was our server Mo! He was always there refilling our waters & asking if we needed anything. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we patronize this restaurant.
